Cooking Oils
For ages we have been using oil to cook food and no modern kitchen would be complete without essential cooking oils. Depending on whether we want to create a salad dressing, deep fry a chicken, or even add flavor to a dish, there are many different types of vegetable oils used for cooking. Italian cuisine would never be the same without cooking with olive oil. Chinese eggrolls wouldn’t taste the same if they weren’t fried in peanut oil. Considering how cooking oil has been used for cooking for ages, it is no surprise that there are so many different cooking oils made from a variety of vegetables like corn, soybean, sunflower, and even almonds.
